Quick little get ready with me while I tell you about something that happened yesterday.

I had to go in for pre-ops again because I missed the window by two days, which was a bit of a bummer… but honestly something really sweet happened while I was there. The woman doing my pre-ops asked if she could pray for me, and I said, “Yes girl, please pray for me.” 🥹

It was just one of those little moments that reminds you how kind people can be and how God shows up in the most unexpected places.

Also while we’re here… I’m using my budget-friendly L’Oréal lotion, my Colorescience foundation, my new favorite blush from Charlotte Tilbury, and y’all… if you don’t have these lashes yet, what are you doing? 😂

Here’s the exact order:
1. L’Oréal Glowy Lotion – this gives that fresh, lit from within look without a heavy foundation.
2. Colorescience – lightweight coverage and protection in one step.
3. Charlotte Tilbury blush stick – tap it on cheeks for instant color and blend with your fingers.
4. Westman Atelier lashes or your favorite mascara – just enough to open up the eyes.
5. IT Cosmetics tiny brush for your lower lashes – the little detail that pulls everything together.

That’s it. Five minutes and out the door, but you still look put together.

GRWM while I give you the update I did not want to give.

Shoulder recovery has not been smooth… and now I’ve torn the bicep in the SAME arm I just had surgery on.

Not something new.
The same arm.

I wish I could tell you I responded calmly and spiritually mature right away. I didn’t. I was frustrated. Sad. Honestly just tired of feeling like I’m starting over.

But I keep coming back to this:

“Be still, and know that I am God.”
Psalm 46:10

And this one has been sitting heavy on my heart:
“Consider it pure joy… whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.”
James 1:2–3

I don’t fully understand the lesson yet.
But I do know God wastes nothing. Not pain. Not setbacks. Not delays.

So while I’m processing all of that… we’re blending through it.

Wearing my favorite Dior foundation because she stays faithful.
Blush from Hourglass is still undefeated.
Trying a new Tarte foundation brush and she’s actually doing her thing.

Healing season. Again.
But peace over panic this time.

Trying out the Missha BB cream today. It went on really nice at first, but as the day went on it started to feel pretty dry. So this one will be going back.

Also, if you can stick with me through my ADD moments and random squirrel thoughts, you might actually be a little entertained along the way 🤪

Product test verdict: loved it.

I put this on in the morning and didn’t think about it again all day, which honestly says everything. It stayed put, wore beautifully, evened out my skin, and still felt light and comfortable hours later.

Is it pricey? Yes.
Is it earning a permanent spot in my rotation anyway? Also yes.

Sometimes the products that just work are worth it. This one surprised me in the best way.

Trying something new today and had to share 🤍 I’m testing out the Dior foundation and honestly… I’m impressed so far.
