Upper Gallery Upgrade! It took us over a year of living in the house before we figured out what to do with the landing at the top of the stairs. Sure, we could have left it alone but what’s the fun in that! 🤷‍♂️ Scroll to the last photo for the before picture. It was just kind of boring. Not anymore! I’m on a mission to replace all our can lights with decorative fixtures and this space provided the perfect opportunity. The recessed lights on the ceiling in this space are gone, in their place are three flush mounted fixtures by Urban Electric Company in black iron and brass, chosen to match the custom stair railing. The bold rug is Alexander McQueen for The Rug Company. The walls, ceiling and panelling are all painted Benjamin Moore SwissCoffee and the black door is Sherwin Williams TricornBlack.
