LOWER BODY DRESSING grilling tongs edition!

Grilling tongs is a great alternative AE to a grabber to assist with LB dressing tasks and other functional tasks.

I like using grilling tongs with my pts with deficits in vision, visual motor control, difficulties with motor planning, and fine motor skills. Grilling tongs are a bit more study and don’t require as much fine motor control as a grabber requires.

Modify it: add colored duct tape to the ends of the tongs for better grip to grasp items and for visual support.
