Sunday reset so not drowning by Wednesday

None of these are fancy. They’re just tiny systems that make my house feel less chaotic as a working mom.

1. A living room bin for random toys + kid stuff. I empty it once a week so I’m not doing 47 trips around the house every night.
2. Cleaning supplies where they’re actually used. Bathroom spray in the bathroom. Wipes under the sink. Laundry stuff in the laundry room. Less walking = more likely to happen.
3. Activity bags packed + ready to go. One for restaurants, one for the car, and one for the beach!
4. Kid snacks where they can reach. Because sometimes independence looks like not hearing “MOM I’M HUNGRY” 900 times.
5. A return basket for things that belong somewhere else. I toss things in it during the week and put them away when I have the bandwidth.

Tiny systems > trying to remember everything.

My closing shift looks a little different in the summer ☀️

Now it’s less about perfectly resetting the house…

and more about making tomorrow easier.

Summer nights now look like:

- restocking activity bags
- resetting outside toys
- baseball bags by the door
- water bottles filled
- picnic lunches prepped
- fruit washed and stocked always
- swimsuits and towels ready again
- making sure sunscreen, snacks, and all the random summer chaos is actually where we can find it
- & of course the usual tables wiped, dishwasher started & items picked up

Because summer gets overwhelming FAST when everything is last minute.

I’ve learned that the goal isn’t a perfect house in this season.

It’s creating systems that help our days run smoother — even when life is busy.

Future me is tired too… so tonight me helps her out. 🤍

3 years ago I came to social media looking for moms like me.

Moms who actually liked being a working mom… but also felt like they were drowning trying to manage the house, the meals, the schedules, the mental load, all of it.

And honestly? I couldn’t really find it. & barely still can!

So I started sharing what was helping me.
The routines. The resets. The systems. The real-life chaos.

Not because I have it all figured out — I absolutely do not 😂
But because working moms deserve to feel seen too.

POV: you’re a busy working mom walking through Target trying to survive on caffeine and vibes… then you find a protein option that actually makes sense 👏🏼

I’ve tried SO many protein drinks and most are either:
→ chalky
→ huge
→ make me feel bloated
→ or impossible to drink during a busy shift

But this little bottle has 23g of protein in it 😳
