At 55, I’ve finally realized that self-care isn’t something I squeeze in when I have time, it’s something I make time for. It matters and it makes a difference.

Y’all have been loving the @cocoandeve body oil as much as I have, so I was excited to try their self tanner! Self tanning is not something I do a lot, but I had heard great things about this one.

I was very pleasantly surprised! I did not turn out orange, and I didn’t have any weird staining around my ankles or knees. And….I didn’t put in a lot of effort. That’s the best part for me!

If I can do this and make it look good, anyone can! Or maybe it was because my puppy helped 😆🐾😆

It has taken me WAY too long to realize that true happiness comes from being our true and authentic selves. For years I struggled with what others thought of me. Finally, in my 50’s, I don’t care anymore!

What makes me happy now is just being myself with zero apologies! And truth be told, no one is worrying about you anyway. They’re too worried about themselves!

I don’t love what aging is doing to my skin and my body, but I do love the empowerment and confidence it has given me. What about you? What has getting older taught you?

It may look a little creepy, but it’s worth the scare! Seriously, if used consistently, a red light therapy mask has sooooo many benefits!

For me, I can tell a huge difference in my skin clarity. My overall texture is better, and even my husband has said that my skin is glowing. And one of my favorite benefits is reduced redness and inflammation in my extremely sensitive skin!
