I had to have this dress as soon as I saw it! It’s a polo dress that’s sporty with a twist! I may even have the buttons changed out after the holiday so I can wear it year round. I’m in the XS. I am LOVING my new microderm device from PMD Beauty. The exfoliation is next level. I like that it has different discs so you can choose your level of intensity. I could tell a difference in my skin after one use!

I have always wanted long, thick hair. Unfortunately my real hair is very fine, thin and brittle. I can grow my hair long, but it never looked good. So much so that I wore more hair up EVERY SINGLE DAY.

A couple of years ago I decided to explore the option of getting hair extensions. And let me tell you, they have made the biggest difference for me. I absolutely love them and cannot imagine not having them.

Make sure you do your research and find the right person. The kind of extensions I get are the Invisible Bead technique and my stylist is certified as an IBE Elite Artist. I do two rows of hair using 3 wefts per row.

This technique does not damage my real hair and is not uncomfortable at all. In fact I often forget I have them!

Like I said, I don’t wear much pink, but this blouse by The Shirt by Rochelle Behrens was the exception for me. I could not resist the pink & silver! And it’s on sale! This is a blouse you can wear now, but would also look great in Spring/Summer with white. I’m in the XS (it runs big).

And can we have a moment for these silver ankle boots by Dolce Vita??? So freaking cute. I will be looking for ways to style these all year! I would suggest sizing a whole size down.

Date Night OOTN

I have ALWAYS loved clothes. ALWAYS. Fashion is such a big part of who I am. I love expressing myself through style. But I have not always understood my style.

For so long, I thought that to be stylish, I had to be wearing the latest trends, and basically what everybody else was wearing. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE a good trend. But I finally realized I had to incorporate the trends to fit my own style and what I felt good in.

For example, when the prairie dresses were so popular, I bought a few of them. And I felt absolutely ridiculous in them. I can remember having one on at an event, and all I wanted to do was hide. So many of the other girls had them on and looked adorable. But I felt stupid. It wasn’t my style. Lesson learned.

My point is, if you don’t feel confident in what you’re wearing, then you’re not showing up for yourself. So wear what makes YOU feel confident. And that means wear whatever the hell you want—as long as you feel good in it. Don’t worry about what everybody else is wearing. We are grown mature women now. We don’t have to worry about “fitting in” with the crowd. Just the opposite. We should be strong independent women who aren’t afraid to stand out!

Enough of my rant!! Don’t miss out on these jeans!! They are on sale until August 3rd for $43!!! They are TTS (I’m wearing the 25). This blouse from Sold Out NYC is a classic. It’s 100% cotton and feels like butter. I wish I had sheets that felt like this! I’m in the XS (it’s oversized).

Some tips on looking better in shorts. These are true for any inseam whether short or more of a Bermuda style.

1. High-waisted and fitted at the waist. This wi elongate the legs and create waist definition.
2. Leg room—this is super important! A wider opening is so much more flattering than a tight fitting pair that cuts your legs off.
3. An a-line pair that is cut on an angle—very flattering.
4. A low heel as opposed to a flat will also help elongate your legs.
5. Body makeup. This stuff has come a long way. I would have demonstrated it but I bought the color I have in the winter and the shade doesn’t match my legs now.
6. Illuminating body oil. It doesn’t have to be greasy or overly sparkly/shiny. A subtle glow will enhance the way the light reflects from your skin.

The sweet spot for your cropped jeans is just above your ankle bone at the smallest part of your ankle. This is the most flattering length and will work with all of your shoes

If they’re too long, you lose the intent of even wearing a cropped jean. If they’re too short, they cut you off and make your legs look short (and is frankly an outdated look).
