there couldn’t be a better time to upgrade your bedding- so many of my favorite neutral textured layers are on sale for Black Friday from Target, west elm, TJ maxx and more. Follow this formula for a layered, warm look in neutrals:
1) crisp white cotton sheets and duvet (all from Target and on sale!)
2) the bottom of the bed blanket in another neutral, spanning the full width of the bed
3) a lumbar pillow that also fits almost the full width— I use a body pillow with a cover for queen and king beds, because the insert is only $10
4) more textures and tones of neutrals from the throw pillows, curtains, etc.

Especially when it comes to guests, I recommend saving on the basics, splurging on the layers ✨ Target linens have officially replaced the more expensive sets I used to buy. I choose crisp, white sheets and duvet cover, then bring in color and texture through the oversized lumbar pillow and a throw blanket.
It’s cost effective AND lets you bleach the linens that get used most frequently. Rounded up some favorites here.
