Norfolk Pt. 1: the living room renovation from our first Hamptons house we bought for ~$635K and later sold for ~$1.95M. (Swipe for before)

One of my biggest renovation rules: invest in the permanent upgrades renters can’t easily destroy, then mix in more affordable furniture + decor that’s easier to replace over time.

In this room we painted the wood floors white, added shiplap to the ceiling, installed a ceiling fan + statement pendant, swapped curtains for woven shades, mounted an art TV, and painted the front door black.
