WHY do you RUN?

I run for a lot of reasons. Those reasons change daily, but some stay consistent. I have been running ‘for me’ for over 2.5 decades. I am 40 years old now and am training for my first FULL marathon.
Marathon training is NO joke. It’s hard. Like really hard, but I do it because I know it’s hard, but I also know I’m capable of hard things.
Maybe running isn’t your jam, but find something that challenges you. Something that stares back at you square in the face and challenges you to become a better version of yourself.

I have a few things I can’t run without: my Goodr sunglasses, my On Running shoes, Features socks, and my Lululemon fast and free running pants. Essential to runner life!

I absolutely love my vintage jewelry. Even as a young girl, I would beg my grandmother to let me go through her jewelry boxes. She would tell me stories of each piece… who gave it to her, places she wore them. I do the same with my daughters now and I can’t pass an antique store without browsing the jewelry cases.

I am a Disney World fanatic! One of my favorite places in Disney is the Boardwalk! With plenty of places to shop, eat, and sip… it is always fun! Plus, it’s one of the only places you can dress cute and still be comfy in Disney world.
This is a go to outfit for me: leather maxi, knit sleeveless top and my favorite Gucci platform boots!!

I run. A LOT. But I also do strength training like LITT training between run days to lower my risk of injury. I am 40, have four children and currently I’m training for a marathon. I’m in love with these Lululemon shorts. I can do all the crazy jumping exercises without worrying if I am flashing anyone thanks to the built in bloomers. Love the new color too!
