After years of testing peel-and-stick wallpaper on both textured and smooth walls, I finally found a removable wallpaper I feel completely comfortable recommending: Love vs. Design glissade removable prepasted wallpaper.

Part 2 of this teen girl bedroom makeover: figuring out the design. We started with the wallpaper and let that give us a direction for everything else - paint, furniture, curtains, rug and bedding. I love starting with one thing you really love instead of trying to design an entire room all at once.

The bedroom makeover for my stepdaughter is coming together! The paneling is done, the wallpaper is up, and now I’m working through all the fun finishing touches. First up: the bed.
