21. Ready Player One by Ernest Cline :: 5/5⭐️ woah this book blew me away!! Another book I read on a total whim and absolutely LOVED! I listened to the audio and it was fantastic! The year is 2040 and the OASIS, a virtual reality world better than the real world, is synonymous with the Internet. The OASISs creator dies and leaves an Easter egg hidden somewhere in the game, the first person to find it gets his entire fortune. This sparks a world wide man hunt for the Easter egg, 5 years after the hunt began, someone finally gets their name on the score board. The story depicts the players race to the end of the game. I’m telling you it was an amazing read!
