Can you believe this heirloom portrait was taken and edited with my IPHONE?? I absolutely love heirloom portraits for their timeless way of capturing babies and kiddos, but I also knew there had to be a better option than dropping upwards of $1000 every time I wanted to update framed photos in my home! While there absolutely is no exact substitute for the magic of professional heirloom photos (and I plan to get them once the kids are a little older!!) I love how easy and insanely affordable it is to DIY using the Lightroom app.

Found the ultimate breastmilk freezing trays on amazon! These plastic trays freeze flat and latch so they stay completely closed-- no leaks or bags becoming misshapen if they move! They are fully translucent plastic so easy to wash and just the right size to fit 4 ounce bags of milk. They also stack AFTER being completely latched, making them fit easier in and out of my freezer drawers than the one-piece stacking shelves and ice cube trays I've used in the past. This specific set of 12 is no longer sold but I found a set of 4 that is just slightly deeper (and may actually fit two bags stacked). Even with my oversupply, I find that I usually use 2-3 trays at a time, so the set of 4 would be perfect for most!

Nursing cart inspired by Karrie Locher and tailored to what has proven the most useful for us after two kids!

This thing comes in so handy during the fourth trimester for postpartum care and nursing/pumping. We organized the cart into levels by diaper changing, postpartum care, and breastfeeding. We also attached a small bag to the side to keep chapstick, lotion, and hair ties for me.

Shared easter basket for toddler boys!

I am all for no frills and minimal junk, so we got things that our boys actually like to play with and that were already on our lists for gifts and starting homeschooling in the fall. I'd much rather focus on quality over quantity!!

With our oldest two being so close in age and sharing most everything, we decided to do a larger basket this year instead of one for each kiddo! We also plan to use the basket for other holidays and gifts, and this faux wicker looks super realistic while being more durable!
