Paver walkway all done!!!

Several neighbors walked by and asked me about my project and commented on the progress! Their reaction to the final product has been in awe!

Fountain to get one!

+1 year review of the @petlibro dockstream cat fountain.

One I’ve had 11 months and another that’s 2 years old. Both are still the quietest fountains I’ve ever had.

They’re super easy to clean, they don’t get grimey like others and there aren’t weird nooks that are hard to clean.

If you pre better than I did, in the 5 mins in takes to soak the cartridge filter…you can clean the fountain + all the parts in time to out in the clean one in.

I’m thinking of getting their new smart fountain, which with an rfid can track which cats are drinking and for how long….HOW COOL IS THAT!!???

I do feel dumb that I was putting it wrong this whole time.

After a while the strap would dig in to the back of my knee!

The solution: put on the knee pad with your knees bent

1) you’re putting them in the position you’ll be working
2) you knees are fully supported
3) the strap is in the right spot

I figured this out while working in my pavers and after hours with them on NO PAIN, NO NUMBNESS.

Score the caulk
Remove old trim
Cut and attach new trim!

Easy!

I’m using
two sizes of trim pullers by @zenithbydanco
Nail puller to remove finish and Brad nails
Oscillating tool to cut through base board
Brad nailer to attach

I accidentally broke an ear off my favorite Disney Halloween mug and wasn’t going to pay $45 to replace some thing I thrifted for $10

A lot of glue, mild panic when I couldn’t clamp it down…and it looks good enough.

It lives to see another Halloween!

Ever abandon a project once you realize how much work it’s going to be?

That was me in July, on a whim I decided to remove the kitchen island I hated

But the previous owners didn’t add the new tile under it!

Instead it was some old 90s tile, so I didn’t want to deal with it.

I put some rugs down, moved my kitchen table over it and moved on
