The trick to fruit salads this summer! Grab this cherry pitter to make it even easier
INGREDIENTS

breakfast radishes
butter* ,softened
flakey salt, to taste

*NOTE: Instead of butter, I recommend using a dip! While butter and radishes are traditionally the best combo, I think they’re better when a radish is whole or cute lengthwise. Here, there are lots of divots that the butter and salt gets stuck in so you don’t have an even amount. On the other hand, using a dip, like hummus, tahini or ranch would be perfect because the dip seeps into those divots giving you the perfect bite!!

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Wash and clean radishes, trimming leaves so there’s only a couple on there.
2. Cut each radish 6 times in a cross-hatch pattern along the top of the breakfast radish towards the bottom, being careful not to cut through the radish.
3. Plunge in ice cold water and leave for at least 10min. Longer the better.
4. Serve with butter and salt (or a dip per the note above) and enjoy!

DIY Spring Centerpiece
SUPPLIES

• 2.5 x 15-Stem Bunch of Tulips. I got mine at @wholefoods and use almost 3 bouquets (about 38 flowers) but feel free to use less. You can also just do one color. Yellow would look great at the top (to match lemons)

• Colorful Citrus (Blood Oranges, Cara Cara and Lemons). I cut thick slices and used about 1.5 of each for the centerpiece.

* 2 vases of the same height (see below). I used a 4x8 and a 6x8in. Comment FLOWER and I’ll send ya the ones I used.

DIRECTIONS:

1. To put together the tulip centerpiece, gather 2 vases of the same height so when the inside one is stacked inside the outside one, it is slightly higher. This is important so that the water from the outside vase doesn’t overfill the inside vase.

2. Add citrus slices in rainbow order in between the two vases and fill with water.

3. Fill inside vase halfway with ice-cold water and then add your tulips.

Episode 1 til she’s 18? 🤷‍♀️ Mama has dreamed of this!! Believe me, it won’t be a daily occurrence (making perfect lunchbox art for her), but I’m excited to do something special every so often, especially for holidays.

I know packing lunches can be a chore, but perhaps this offers some inspo if you’re so inclined.

PS- the Rolo, the Bell peppers and the cucumbers are a little advanced for Rory right now, but I couldn’t wait to start this series and will be giving different ideas that can inspire creativity for a variety of ages.

happy hour, etc, including Easter or Passover.

I saw this idea from @nowherenearmartha and had to try it. The flower shape was a little intimidating at first but after practicing a petal or two on a plate, I was ready to make my flower.

dill
olive oil
flakey salt

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Using the back of a spoon, spread aprox. a teaspoon of cream cheese onto a platter in the shape of a petal. Repeat to create a flower shape.
2. Place capers in the center of the flower and garnish with dill.
3. Layer on olive oil and flakey salt to taste, and enjoy!

Easter Bunny Charcuterie 🐰 Directions below ⬇️ And yes, I know this isn’t technically “charcuterie” because there are no cured meats, however, you guys just love the word, so imma use it generously around here. 😜

INGREDIENTS

3 (13 oz) brie wheels
2 mini brie bites
3 pink candy almonds
2 black m&m’s
5 Raincoast Crisp crackers
2 oz goat cheese
1 oz lemon curd
1 celery stalk
3 cheddar slices
5 parsley leaves
20 butterfly crackers
12 oz blueberries
2 oz blackberries

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Cut both sides of one round brie wheel to create two “ear” shapes.

2. Place two whole brie wheels on the board to create both the “head” and the “body” of the bunny, and the two “ears” on top of the head.

3. Lay down mini brie bites to create the cheeks, a pink candy almond for the nose, two black m&m’s for the eyes and two more pink candy almonds onto the ears.

4. To create the flower crackers, roll approx. 1 tsp of goat cheese into a ball for each “flower” and chill in the fridge for 30 minutes.

5. Place the chilled goat cheese balls on the Raincoast Crisp crackers and gently press with thumb to create flower shape and carefully spoon lemon curd into the indent created by your thumb.

6. Cut thin slices of celery from the stalk and place on board for the “flower stems,” then place the flower crackers at the top.

7. Cut the cheddar slices into 5 carrot shapes.

8. Lay “carrots” on board and garnish with parsley leaves for the “carrot stems”.

9. Place butterfly crackers along the edge of the top of the board.

10. Scatter the blueberries on the top half of the board to create the “sky” and layer in blackberries. Enjoy!
