How to make faux branches look real š The trick is to stop treating them like faux stems. Real branches arenāt perfectly straight, symmetrical or equally fullāso before I put mine in a vase, I always manipulate them a little. Bend the main stem to create a more natural shape, bend the smaller branches in different directions, and remove a few leaves so every section isnāt perfectly full. I also vary the height and direction of each stem instead of arranging them too evenly. Itās such a small styling detail, but it makes faux fall branches look SO much more natural and gives you that loose, collected arrangement instead of the āstraight out of the packageā look.
