Now that we’ve all stocked up on big plants at ALDI, it’s time to start thinking about repotting them in the spring! Target restocked my favorite self-watering planter pots for spring already, and I’m so excited about all the colors available this year! They are available in big 12”, 16”, and 20" sizes so you can graduate your plants up to the next size. But they also come in a cute little 3.75” two-pack! If you got a 10” plant at ALDI, a 12” or maybe even a 16” pot would be a good size to repot it in! These are called self-watering, but they won’t water your plants for you. They have a reservoir at the bottom to catch any excess water, like drainage holes. This allows the water to flow past the roots so you don’t get root rot. It also allows the plant to draw up water from that reservoir as needed, if you are on vacation or out of town for a few days.
