MOST REQUESTED: MY TOP 5 SWEATERS FOR FALL 🍂🩰

If you’re ready to refresh your wardrobe but don’t know where to start — these are the workhorses I reach for on repeat all fall + winter. Versatile, flattering, easy to style a million ways… and the sweaters I’m actually excited to put on.

Living in the Northeast, I wear a lot of sweaters and not surprisingly one of questions I get asked most (especially in Fall) is which of my sweaters are truly my favorites. I judge a sweater on three things: Is it cozy and warm (but not itchy)? Is it cute? Will I get a lot of use out of it this year and for years to come? So here are my picks for the sweaters I truly love and reach for most often. Some of these are definitely investment pieces but I stand by them because they're so good and I plan to wear them for years and years. I also included a couple alternatives at lower price points that I own and love as well in case you arent ready to invest in some of the pricier options.

Also including a few honorable mentions, that I own and also highly recommend at low price points. I wear a small in all, except oversized Quincd cashmere, I sized up 1 to a medium in that style.

My #1 question I get asked is “Where do I start when rebuilding my wardrobe?” And I totally get it - there’s so much out there it can feel overwhelming (and not to mention expensive).

When in doubt I always go back to the classics. High quality, versatile pieces that make you feel confident and that you’ll actually wear on repeat. Think an elevated tee, an oversized button-down, the perfect pair of jeans.

And here’s the best part… today I’m sharing my most worn staples that ring in under $100. Affordable, timeless, the exact pieces that ground my everyday outfits.

1) The perfect white tee. My go-to is from J. Crew. Soft, structured, holds its shape. So versatile. Own in XS and S (my true size).
2) Levi’s 501 90’s. The best pair of affordable jeans hands down. Flattering and giving vintage vibes without the price tag. Sized down to a 24x30.
3) Quince Cashmere Tee. An elevated basic you’ll wear on repeat. Runs TTS ( I took a small)
4) Schutz neutral ballet flats. Classic, comfortable, and endlessly versatile.
5) Everlane oversized button-down. Crisp yet relaxed. Works half-tucked into a pair of jeans or layered over a swim suit or under a sweater. Runs TTS.
6) J. Crew Rollneck sweater. Collar and sleeve details are so lovely. Works with jeans or a pair of leggings. I sized down 1 to an XS.
7) Quince Mongolian Cashmere sweater. $50 and feels so luxe. I sized up to a Medium.
8) Grey Beyond Yoga leggings. Ridiculously soft and great for everyday. Sized up 1 to a medium for a little more room.
9) Gap everyday neutral knit. 100% Cotton. Feels cozy, looks luxe and can’t beat the price. In a small (my true size)
10) Offline by Aerie oversized grey sweatshirt. For morning walks, school drop off and errands in town. Super soft and goes with everything. Wearing my true size (small)

Bonus! Could resist adding two more I wear on repeat!

11) Amazon studs. I wear these almost every single day. $19! Simple, classic and an instant outfit boost.

12) Ralph Lauren baseball hat. For bad hair days, casual errands and a cool off-duty vibe.

Sharing yesterday’s OOTD two ways! This perfectwhitetee sweatshirt is amazing. Cozy and warm, so versatile, amazing details in stitching and collar that make it super interesting up close. The best part? Fully reversible!

Sharing my top white tees (one per day) right now. This J. Crew boyfriend tee is probably my most worn of all time. I love the thicker cotton giving it great structure and not at all sheer. High collar is great for layering and the boxy fit has such great balance for Jean shorts, straight leg jeans and skirts.

Runs a touch big. I own the XS and the S and love them for different reasons, but if you’re between I would size down 1.

I didnt think the video I posted yesterday did this white tee enough justice so I recorded another one today! Wanted to show how flattering she truly is. Perfect length, hits in all the right places. I layered with my sweatshirt on today’s OOTD, but I can’t wait to be able to wear it on its own with a pair of jeans this spring!

A few images of today’s OOTD. I want to especially highlight the Perfectwhitetee reversible sweatshirt and the the @Steve Madden US clogs. The sweatshirt is so soft and cozy and the best part are the subtle collar and reverse seam details that take things so much further than a basic sweatshirt.

The clogs are such a cool girl vibe that are giving The Row vibes for only $120! I think these are going to be a new cool mom obsession!

My top tee for layering with sweaters hands down is Uniqlo and for $15, it’s such a great basic to add to any wardrobe. I love how the collar peaks out at the top. I size up 1 to a medium to get that perfect length to peak out below the sweater too. It’s thick which I like for the winter time

my favs from the Boden new arrivals ✨✨

Growing up, my dad used to say, “life’s not a fashion show!” — usually while hustling me and my sisters out the door. He wanted us to focus on school, sports, and working hard. But I’ve always loved clothes. Even though I didn’t have a lot, I felt the difference when I wore something I loved — it changed my mood. That feeling eventually led me to a dream job at J.Crew and Madewell HQ for ten years.

Fast forward to the chaos of pandemic life, working from home, and two little ones… I slowly slipped into wearing the same worn-out gym clothes all day. Not cute matching sets — I’m talking the actual sweaty workout clothes from that morning. 🫠 I told myself I didn’t have time for anything more — not a shower, not jeans, not makeup.

Then last January, after reading Atomic Habits, I made one small change: I decided to start getting dressed again. And wow — I didn’t expect what a difference it would make.

I’ve realized now — my dad was right. It’s not about a fashion show. It’s about showing up for myself. Choosing an outfit, putting it on, and instantly feeling a shift. More focus. More confidence. More energy — even if I’m not leaving the house.

Getting dressed has become one of the simplest ways I care for myself. Some days it’s subtle — a gentle reminder to be present. Other days, it completely turns things around.

This journey isn’t about dressing for others. It’s about feeling like the best version of you. And if you’ve ever felt like you lost a bit of yourself somewhere along the way — same. But small habits add up, and this one has been powerful for me.

A little bit more about my OOTD. This Ivory Boucle cozy knit is an incredible find. I really wanted the Toteme version that is on sale for $500 but this one is so close for hundreds less. One of my best finds of the entire winter!

Such a simple outfit when paired with a great pair of straight leg jeans and ankle boots.

J. Crew roll neck in stripe is just a fun change up to my usual outfits. This sweater is one my best selling and favorites of 2025 and love that J. Crew continues to come out with newness. I took a small (my true size) and I love how it is perfectly oversized • AGOLDE 90’s. The best straight leg denim! I take a 25.(TTS) • Buck Mason white tee for layering. Also took a small (TTS) • SeaVees white sneakers and white Alex Mill tote to complete the cool mom look 😎

This outfit is such a great representation of my winter style. I love winter whites, cozy sweaters, Chelsea boots and my favorite coat!

Levi’s 501 90’s in Ecru are one of my all time favorites. For the price, you can’t truly beat them • La Ligne Marin sweater. You know this sweater is Navy is my all time favorite so I couldn’t resist getting in a few more colors. Loving the grey as a subtle contrast to the jeans (while still living into a neutral territory). This sweater is perfect. So cozy, perfectly oversized and no itch at all • Uniqlo white tee is the perfect layering piece that is just long enough to stick out in the collar and near the waist line • Toteme coat is not linkable on LTK (you can find on my shopmy) but sharing a few back ups here. I love a forest green (almost black) in the winter • Margaux West Chelsea boots are my most worn and most loved boots • Amazon studs, my go to Wayfarers and my favorite investment piece bag.

This outfit is definitely one of my more high end but I love every piece. Adding some lower price point alts to this post as well.
