MOST REQUESTED: MY TOP 5 SWEATERS FOR FALL 🍂🩰

If you’re ready to refresh your wardrobe but don’t know where to start — these are the workhorses I reach for on repeat all fall + winter. Versatile, flattering, easy to style a million ways… and the sweaters I’m actually excited to put on.

Living in the Northeast, I wear a lot of sweaters and not surprisingly one of questions I get asked most (especially in Fall) is which of my sweaters are truly my favorites. I judge a sweater on three things: Is it cozy and warm (but not itchy)? Is it cute? Will I get a lot of use out of it this year and for years to come? So here are my picks for the sweaters I truly love and reach for most often. Some of these are definitely investment pieces but I stand by them because they're so good and I plan to wear them for years and years. I also included a couple alternatives at lower price points that I own and love as well in case you arent ready to invest in some of the pricier options.

Also including a few honorable mentions, that I own and also highly recommend at low price points. I wear a small in all, except oversized Quincd cashmere, I sized up 1 to a medium in that style.

My #1 question I get asked is “Where do I start when rebuilding my wardrobe?” And I totally get it - there’s so much out there it can feel overwhelming (and not to mention expensive).

When in doubt I always go back to the classics. High quality, versatile pieces that make you feel confident and that you’ll actually wear on repeat. Think an elevated tee, an oversized button-down, the perfect pair of jeans.

And here’s the best part… today I’m sharing my most worn staples that ring in under $100. Affordable, timeless, the exact pieces that ground my everyday outfits.

1) The perfect white tee. My go-to is from J. Crew. Soft, structured, holds its shape. So versatile. Own in XS and S (my true size).
2) Levi’s 501 90’s. The best pair of affordable jeans hands down. Flattering and giving vintage vibes without the price tag. Sized down to a 24x30.
3) Quince Cashmere Tee. An elevated basic you’ll wear on repeat. Runs TTS ( I took a small)
4) Schutz neutral ballet flats. Classic, comfortable, and endlessly versatile.
5) Everlane oversized button-down. Crisp yet relaxed. Works half-tucked into a pair of jeans or layered over a swim suit or under a sweater. Runs TTS.
6) J. Crew Rollneck sweater. Collar and sleeve details are so lovely. Works with jeans or a pair of leggings. I sized down 1 to an XS.
7) Quince Mongolian Cashmere sweater. $50 and feels so luxe. I sized up to a Medium.
8) Grey Beyond Yoga leggings. Ridiculously soft and great for everyday. Sized up 1 to a medium for a little more room.
9) Gap everyday neutral knit. 100% Cotton. Feels cozy, looks luxe and can’t beat the price. In a small (my true size)
10) Offline by Aerie oversized grey sweatshirt. For morning walks, school drop off and errands in town. Super soft and goes with everything. Wearing my true size (small)

Bonus! Could resist adding two more I wear on repeat!

11) Amazon studs. I wear these almost every single day. $19! Simple, classic and an instant outfit boost.

12) Ralph Lauren baseball hat. For bad hair days, casual errands and a cool off-duty vibe.

Lovely October, you went by too fast! 🍂🤍 Such a beautiful few weeks full of life’s simple joys without the overestimulation of the upcoming holidays. Some of my favorite moments were walks to school, moms night out, cheering my kids on at soccer & swim, working at my favorite coffee shop, Sunday morning worship, and a quick visit from my parents. Loving the rotation of cozy sweaters, beautiful outerwear, vintage inspired jeans and great fall shoes & accessories 🍂☕️✨ The last one just makes me want to freeze time and slow down to really soak it all in. I can already feel myself missing these days 🤍

The is La Ligne Sherpa jacket is a game changer. Most Jean jackets I try on are not nearly warm enough but this one is lined and super cozy. Love the Sherpa collar detail as well! La Ligne keeps getting it right. It’s expensive so I need to choose which pieces to invest in. The Marin sweater is one and this is a new favorite as well! • Beyond Yoga Caught in the Midi High Waist Leggings are my go to Saturday legging • Two Quince sweaters. The Mongolian Cashmere is so good especially for only $50. I’d gladly pay much more. One to wear as my base layer and one to wear as an extra over the shoulders that acts like a scarf for style and an extra layer of warmth near the neck • New Balance sneaks, my everyday Ray-Ban sunnies• Liffner tote is one of the very best investments I’ve made this year. It’s so chic with dress up or dress down outfits and super practical

Wednesday’s OOTD in case you missed it!

Such pretty light coming in this morning! Here is my Aritzia cashmere is chocolate brown. Look how beautiful she looks in the light. This is a perfect Fall outfit! Easy for moms and great for working from home. I threw on my favorite pair of denim (AGOLDE 90’s) to match this crewneck. It’s a really great price point but I also included the Quince Mongolian Cashmere as a lower priced alt.

We’re headed to watch the kids in their school parades. They’re both characters from Harry Potter!

It’s pretty cold and windy here so I threw on this VERY warm Cropped Sherpa Jacket from La Ligne. • Favorite AGOLDE 90’s jeans in dark denim • AYR Half Day long sleeve white tee (such a great layering piece or perfect to wear on its own) • Matisse Lenore Marie Ballet Flats. Gorgeous, goes so well with the denim and the Sherpa collar from the jacket.

Tuesday’s OOTD in case you missed it!

Boyfriend (read husband) sweater alert! Sometimes I gravitate towards men’s sweaters for the naturally oversized fit and this Alex Mill Donegal is the perfect example. It’s relaxed yet polished, very warm but not itchy and the flecked yard is just an incredible detail that adds just the right amount of surprise. Made for the north west coast of Ireland, this sweater is next level comfort for the elements but nice enough to wear to work. She comes in several beautiful colors too! • AGOLDE 90’s in the dark denim wash! These jeans have always been my summer go to in the lighter wash, but now that I found the dark denim, I’ll wear these on repeat all Fall and Winter long. These are truly at the top of my rotation • J. Crew relaxed premium weight tee is my absolute favorite for layering under sweaters. The collar peeks out perfectly from the crew neck of the sweater. • Liffner bag. Investment piece for sure but a worthy one! Ties every outfit together so beautifully in a chocolate brown that is the Fall color of the year. • Tiger sneaks always seem to sell out so make sure you heart on LTK to get alerted when they come back in stock!

In this post I share my top 6 (5 plus a bonus) and also link more options I’ve vetted and 100% stand behind. When I’m choosing a sweater, it has to be cute and warm but not itchy. Bonus points for extra soft fabric, durability and a detail or two that makes it unique. These are such great pieces for work, the weekend or even upcoming holidays! So here are the top 5 with sizing notes included: Abercrombie Easy Cable-Knit Mockneck super soft and beautiful cable knit details. A little mockneck this time of year is a great way to add a bit of texture to the look and to keep warm. Must be soft but not itchy and this one hits the balance perfectly. • Zara Jacquard Knit is giving off great Fair Isle vibes for a fraction of the price. The earthy chocolates and beige combination is hitting all the right notes trending this Fall. • Quince Mongolian Cashmere in grey. One of the most worn and versatile pieces in my closet. If there is one item from Quince on the entire website that they nail, it’s the Mongolian Cashmere. It blows my mind that they have such a beautiful and soft cashmere crew neck for just $50. The grey is so versatile and can be styled so many ways, making it a critical basic every closet should have • J. Crew 2025 Rollneck is a slightly more modern take (in a good way) to the iconic Rollneck from the 90’s. This sweater is so good and sold out incredibly quickly. They’re now taking pre orders for the next batch so I’d order now so you don’t miss it! • Quince Mongolian Cashmere in black this time. Did I mention how much I love the Quince cashmere? It’s so good I had to include it twice. Black is the other color I’d recommend first for the versatility, but I’m also really loving the chocolate brown right now.
