Last night I made paella - inspired by a seafood broth I saw at @wabashseafoodco last week. It was admittedly easy and because I wasn’t sure how it would turn out I didn’t throw tons of seafood in (I mean in case it was a “quick order a pizza” kind of thing 😂) But it was delish and honestly simple: 1️⃣ Brown the protein - in this case chicken chorizo & white fish (which I marinated in lemon and @spicemode Spanish seasoning ahead of time). Then set aside. 2️⃣ Brown 1 1/4 cups of Spanish rice in the same pan (to this I also added 1 clove minced garlic) for 2 minutes 3️⃣ Deglaze with 1/2 cup white wine, then add the full box of Aneto Paella Broth. Bring to a boil and let it go for 10 min 4️⃣ Add back in the chorizo/fish & 1/3 cup frozen peas. Simmer for anoryber 10 min (I ended up adding another 1/2 cup of water as it was thickening) 5️⃣ Turn the heat down and let it go for another 5 min.
