New goal in life: to not only look carefree, but to truly feel it inside too❤️

All of us struggle with different obstacles and limiting beliefs. For most of my life, my head’s been full of worry. I wouldn’t name it fear or anxiety, just pure worry - though it’s probably a combination of all of the above. Whatever it is, I’ve decided that it’s no longer serving me.

We seek to achieve different goals. One of the most important things to focus on is not eliminating fear from our lives completely, but to face our fears as bravely as we can, name them, and keep moving forward. It’s easy to get hung up on doing things the “right” way instead of the way that truly works for you. Focus on the little things, the things that make you feel loved and sustained. Make space in your life to acknowledge your worries or feelings, instead of pushing them down because they are ugly or inconvenient. There will always be time to turn those dark clouds into rainbows, but if you push yourself too far too fast, you’ll burn out and miss the joy of the journey. Instead, take the time lift yourself and others up on the crazy beautiful journey that is life. What’s one goal you’re bringing into focus these days?

Morning ritual 💛 Infusing mindful routines right when I wake up has definitely brought joy and happiness into my days. As soon as I awake, I only check my phone to see the time, then drink a full glass of water. Then comes listening to a meditation on Insight Timer and then free writing thoughts in my journal. Somewhere in between there’s a kiss for my husband and trip to the bathroom. Then I always make the bed - at the moment our favorite bedding is from super soft and cozy @splendidla.
