A sweater over your shoulders can feel a little awkward until you get it right. The trick for me is finding the right weight and then wearing it however feels natural — over the shoulders, tied in back, or around your waist. Such an easy little styling trick that makes a simple outfit feel more pulled together.

This is my kind of fall find — $36, the prettiest seasonal color, and something I can actually wear while it’s still warm outside. Sandals now, boots when the temperature finally cooperates.

Target is making it VERY hard for me to behave lately. This brown wrap skirt is lightweight enough to wear now, but add boots and a sweater later and you’ve got one of those pieces that carries your closet straight into fall.

I pulled this out and was completely convinced it wasn’t me… then I put it on. The fit, the knit, the pockets, the little flats — apparently my inner Audrey Hepburn just needed a little leopard.

If you girls remember my “five pounds lighter” pants, Target just gave us the comfy version — they’re actually SWEATPANTS. Add that soft little boatneck sweater and this might be my favorite Target outfit of the entire haul.

This is exactly the kind of Target find I get excited about — it gives you that polished layered-shirt look without all the extra bulk underneath. I own a designer version that cost me around $165, and this one makes me seriously question why I ever spent that much.

You already know I wasn’t leaving a leopard workout set behind. It’s ridiculously soft, the print makes working out a little more fun, and I’m exchanging the top for one size up because I always like a little more breathing room in my sports bras.

Why is finding a really good white T-shirt so ridiculously hard? I finally found one with that slightly relaxed fit I like, and I’m already thinking jeans, shorts, under a blazer — basically everything.

Okay, workout set number two and these pants are such a fun change from leggings glued to your legs. They’re soft, relaxed through the bottom, and that color is SO good — I just need to swap mine for the right size and we’re in business.

You know when you put on a sweater and immediately start thinking about all the ways you’re going to wear it? This is THAT sweater for me — and paired with my new favorite sweatpants, I may never take this outfit off.

I went looking for affordable workout clothes and Target clearly decided to show off. This ballerina-style top with those striped leggings is so flattering and soft that I’m already calling it — this one is getting worn.
