Casual dinner outfit, coming right up! I paired my light-wash jeans (wearing a size 2) with a new oversized pink button-down, a little front tuck, and sandals since it's still warm outside.

And because I'm always cold, I'm bringing my favorite scarf for the restaurant or the walk home!

The slingback is the keeper! I love how it looks with jeans or little black pants, and it’s genuinely comfortable. I wear a 7.5 in both styles, but the black suede slide didn’t stay on my foot properly because of my high arches and instep. This one fits beautifully, and no, you don’t have to spend a fortune to find a great shoe!

The mule had the prettier shape in my opinion, but it wouldn’t stay on my foot because of my high arches and high instep, so it’s going back! I’m keeping the slingback because it’s comfortable, looks great with jeans or black pants, and gives me the look I want without spending designer prices. I wear a 7.5 in both. The lesson? Fit always wins!

These Target dark-wash wide-leg jeans are just $17, and honestly, they're as good as some of my designer pairs! The dark wash is so flattering, the shape is easy to style, and I'm wearing a size 2 Regular. If you've been looking for great denim without the designer price tag, take a look!
