This space is fully visible from our main living area, which is open to our kitchen and dining room—so I didn’t want to shut this door or treat it like a separate laundry or pantry. I wanted it to feel like an extension of the home… something beautiful to live with, not something hidden away. Originally, I planned to simply paint and keep things minimal since the cabinetry color was already set. But when I found this wallpaper, it completely changed the direction in the best way. Now this laundry room / pantry space feels like a continuation of our kitchen—layered with warmth, texture, and everyday function all in one. Even simple things like folding laundry or grabbing something from the shelves feel different here. It’s become one of my favorite examples of designing for how a home actually lives, not just how it looks in a photo.
