For who asked I’m posting this here for you to save. Here’s how I do a grazing board/charcuterie:

I kind of enjoy a spread that looks undone and messy. But to keep it easy, I use the rule of 3: three fruits, three meats, three cheeses. Then you can add your favorite starches (bread/crackers) and fill in with nuts and jams.

Fruit:
I used two colors of grapes, mandarins with the leaves, and pears, but you could use any seasonal fruit. Pomegranate would be beautiful, as well as fresh figs sliced lengthwise. Dried fruits are also a great choice!

Cheese:
I always include variations of goat cheese since it’s easier for those (by those, I mean me😂) who are lactose intolerant. Some faves are goat Brie, drunken goat, truffle goat, and smoky goat Gouda. There are also so many great cows milk cheeses like Brie and aged cheddar, Gorgonzola… use whatever you like!

Meats:
I like nitrate free meats in variations like soppressata salami, chorizo, and prosciutto. Again, pick your favorite three and go with it:)

TO ASSEMBLE:
1. Start with a roll of unbleached, uncoated butcher paper. I used a 36” wide roll but they also come in 24” if you want more of a runner. You could also use bleached parchment :)

2. I did this part last, but place your candles and vases of greenery down the center.

3. Next, I spread my grapes throughout the table, then nestled in my mandarins and pears.

4. Then I placed the cheeses throughout, trying to keep the distribution equal.

5. You can be as simple (piles and rows) or as fancy (rosettes and shapes) as you want with the meats. I just quickly placed one type at a time and evenly distributed in groups and piles.

6. Then I added my crackers (I used simple mills gf and buttery twists from Whole Foods) then placed the jams and any nuts, and adjusted as needed :)

If you got a red light device and you didn’t do this you’re missing out on huge benefits. There’s a study that said if you put green tea on your skin 20 mins prior to red light therapy you will get 10 months of benefits in one month! It’s on PubMed, look it up!

The other thing you want to do is put something hydrating on your skin with no oil or moisturizer. You should use a hydrating serum with hyaluronic acid, a snail mucin. Three things still on Cyber Monday green tea toner, peptide serum, and snail mucin.

For my hair I take Nutrafol, do a weekly hair mask, heat protectant, the Color Wow is a heat protectant and it keeps your hair shinny and smooth. The Kérastase oil I use for my slick back buns, and I only do my slick backs when my hair is dry. I mix the Kérastase hair cream with the oil then I use the hair wax. I only use heat tools that don’t get too hot! These get just hot enough so they don’t fry your hair.

Last minute gift ideas! I saw this on another creator’s page, gift earrings in a jewelry box! I love this travel jewelry box, it has clear pouches to keep your necklaces from getting tangled. The Steve Madden slippers are on sale in tons of colors! This bag functions just like my Beis toiletry bag, it has so much storage! If you haven’t tried Cakes, they are genius! They don’t rip the nip off!

When you hit your mid 30’s you will see- your skin needs extra help! At 49 I haven’t had a pedicure in two years and my heels are baby skin smooth :) try it!
