I bought this Design Essentials shampoo on a bit of a whim and wasn't sure how I would like it as it is called a hair bath and not a shampoo threw me. What I found is this shampoo can be worked into a really thick lather which makes me think it's really working hard to clean my hair. It is sulfate-free but does have protein in it.
