There was a time when I wanted every corner of our home to look perfectly styled.

Sometimes the best thing you can do is disappear for a little while. 🤍

From San Francisco to Lake Tahoe and Yosemite National Park, this road trip gave us something I didn’t even realize I needed—a chance to slow down, unplug, and simply be present.

The breathtaking views, crystal-clear lakes, towering mountains, waterfalls, and all the incredible wildlife we were lucky enough to see made every mile unforgettable. But the best part was experiencing it all through our kids’ eyes. Their excitement reminded me to appreciate the little moments instead of always looking ahead.

Stepping away from social media for a few days helped me recharge in ways I can’t put into words. Sometimes the best memories are the ones you experience without thinking about posting them.

This trip filled my heart, cleared my mind, and reminded me that nature has a way of putting everything back into perspective. ❤️

On my journey to bring my iron levels back up 💪 I’ve been anemic for years, and after seeing a nutritionist last week I’m being more mindful of what I eat. I liked that her plan was doable. My meals are packed with iron and Vitamin C now. I’ve tried IV infusions and some medications before, but I’m going this route now which I feel would be better. It’s more about being consistent. So let’s see how things will look in October.
Yesterday I got burgers for my kids and I made myself a turkey wrap with spinach, tomatoes, and mandarins on the side. It wasn’t easy 😂 but I enjoyed my food😍

Have you heard of basil seeds? I saw it on a reel and decided to give it a try. It has 2x the iron, fiber, calcium and potassium. You mix it with water and let it sit for 5 min only. The seeds by themselves are plain in flavor, but rich in nutrients.

Had a lovely day with our next door neighbors, enjoying good food and great company. But the fireworks show that is held every year at the park right above us ended the night on a different note. A fire 🔥 broke out 😕

So thankful for our firefighters who quickly put it out. We definitely had a scare and I think my kids are traumatized now and wouldn’t want any fireworks show. Moments like this make you appreciate home more and wake up even more grateful 🙏
