This morning was absolutely beautiful, but now another storm is headed our way #hurricaneseason ...I Had so much fun styling these plaid beauties and they are just so good! I’d say they are tts (I’m wearing a 10), super high waisted, and bonus—> plaid is forecasted as a BIG trend this fall and winter!

Honestly, I have no idea and have never really known the answer to this question. I had two main goals: 1. I want to feel comfortable wearing shorts and sleeveless tops because it’s v hot in Houston. AND 2. I want to feel confident wearing a swimsuit. Neither of those give me a number on the scale but instead put a smile on my face. ⠀

I have loved my health journey and what it has taught me about myself and my habits. My biggest encouragement is find what works for you. This may not be for everyone, but it has changed my life. Had to throw on some real pants 👖 to check how my quarantine was treating me...ALL GOOD HERE 💃🏻 🙌🏻

Had this pandemic happened a year ago, I would’ve undone all of my hand work. I didn’t have healthy habits, I had a diet plan that faltered at any sudden change: a vacation, a girls trip, a snow day, a sad day etc. you get the point. But I have to pat myself on the back, I’m hanging on and am so grateful for all that I have learned over these past months.
