What makes your house feel like a home? For me, it’s sound of little girl giggles, the scent of my favorite candle or dinner on the stove. My perfectly imperfect body, creating a perfect tiny human. It’s an incredible thing! The first half of this pregnancy was anything but pleasant... I’m fortunate that we grew out of the nausea, my hormones leveled out leaving the depression in the first trimester and now, here I am, month 5, finally able to wear my pregnancy glow. My first two pregnancies weren’t like this one. I LOVED being pregnant! It’s so nice to have that feeling again with baby brother, even if it’s only for a few months... Did you love being pregnant?

As part of my weekly routine, I’ve made it a practice to reflect on the past week to understand what I might’ve let get in the way of my priorities. After all, they aren’t priorities unless I make them so. The road blocks are usually causing issues in many areas of my life, so it’s important to acknowledge what they are and try something new until I’ve conquered and made these priorities a habit. It’s #mommytipmondays and this week I encourage you to reflect on your past week. What can you do this week to be more aligned with your priorities?

Lately I’ve been doing a lot of self educating on manifestation and how to create an energy in myself and in my home to elevate our life. On a podcast I listened to recently the host spoke about wealth and financial freedom. Acting like you have money so more money will flow to you. I want more money, don’t you??? Many people think this means spending money with the belief the money will come back, but that’s not really how it works.... You need to LOOK like money. FEEL like money. DO like money. Hmmm... sound familiar? Meaning those underwear with holes... DO toss ‘em. People with wealth don’t have panties that are falling apart or coffee mugs that are chipped. Wear clothes that make you FEEL like a million bucks, even if they cost a couple dollars. I decided that to feel like money, I’d sign up for @renttherunway unlimited membership. How did you tell your kids you are pregnant? I’ve been so sick and they were so worried that I decided to tell them that my belly was trying to make a baby. I told them it would be a few weeks before we’d know for sure because I was so nervous about another miscarriage. Cora is certain there is a baby in there. Bexley thinks there might be a baby in her belly too... We go in for an ultrasound and some blood tests later this week. Feeling very optimistic!!!

Anyone else have a go-to #momiform or wardrobe color? For me it’s jeans and a white tee. White probably isn’t the best color for my #mommylifestyle and the grubby little hands 🖐🏻 but it’s 80% of what I like to wear 🤷🏻‍♀️ One of the reasons I choose jeans & a tee is so I can accessorize!
