Here’s our new dining table! It’s a modern oak plinth table, which is nice because when people crowd around, nobody is hitting their knees on the legs. These chairs are temporary and just pulled from around the house, so I’m gonna need your opinions on what dining chairs I should get to complement! I’m so excited to finally have a dining table for holiday entertaining.

Yikes, it's only two days until Thanksgiving! I'm running through checklists in my head but probably making a bigger deal out of it than need be:

Spent an obscene amount of money restocking my bar cart ✔️

Started defrosting the 22lb bird three days ago ✔️

Assigned all the sides to other people ✔️

Settled on the turkey recipe I'll be attempting this year ✔️

The last thing I need (not need, want) to do is start decorating a little for Christmas. Thanksmas is a thing! Especially when there will be 11 kids in attendance.

What's on your list? What's your number one "need to do" and favorite "nice to have"?

Black kitchen with mid century modern walnut counter stools, brass knobs, modern brass pendants, floating shelves, and vintage bread board

Put art in unexpected places. It’s my favorite way to add personality to a space. When people walk into a room, I want them to have questions 👀

Did some last minute Christmas shopping and ran across this gorgeous chunky coffee table. I just had to share it 😍

#LTKHome

This ceramic non-stick pan is the workhorse of my kitchen. I’m cooking with a lot of carrots and celery this time of year 🤪

It’s so easy to make a floating shelf using these budget brackets from Amazon. I created an 8 foot long floating shelf above my coffee bar that is probably the cutest spot in my whole house. I also used these to create shelves for our workout accessories in our yoga room/home gym.

Are you a lazy holiday decorator like me? This realistic faux garland and battery fairy lights give you a five minute mantle. It’s not too late to do some last-minute decorating. These are both available on Amazon!

I freaking love this weighted heating pad. So nice for working from home during the winter. Also amazing for pets! My pug steals this from me every time I set it down. Great last minute gift from Amazon, under $50.

Cute retro vintage neutral wrapping paper. Very classic black illustration on Kraft paper.

The Hearth has been a game changer for chores. Yes, finishing your Christmas list is hardly a chore, but adding to my kids’ to-do list helped them get it done in time for us to jump on Black Friday and Cyber Week deals. They’ve also completed more chores in two weeks than in the last two months independently.

Which would you choose? Context: moody living room with black trim, the walls are painted a smoky olive green. I’m thinking cordless flat fold Roman shades but torn between these two botanical patterns. 🤔

Manic nesting aside, putting this outdoor sectional on our front porch was the best decision I made all year! The throw pillow covers have held up really well and the muslin blanket that Franklin is tossing around is very cozy, even on chilly fall mornings like this.

I found these modern ceramic match holders on Amazon (it’s a set of two in black and white) and they are such a cute little piece to style on a shelf or your counter. So much better than the gross kitchen matchbox you have shoved in a drawer. This would make a really good hostess gift for the holidays!

The perfect French girl chunky red pump for under $40! I get compliments on these shoes every single time I walk out of the house. They’re super comfortable and easy to walk in. I’m wearing a size 9 1/2 and they fit true to size.

This closet organizer is a godsend. I have it installed in both of my kids bedrooms. It’s super easy to install and you can configure it in a bunch of different ways.

My little pug is obsessed with our new faux fur throw from Amazon 😍 It’s similar to our RH one — very realistic coloring and super soft.

Finished setting up our cocoa bar for the season! Here’s everything I used to create mine.

This velvet babydoll blouse is so cute IRL. The V neck is nice and deep and the sleeves have a beautiful shoulder detail. Flattering cut for those of us with a large chest and a bit of a tummy.

Used my new square ice molds to make orange pomegranate ice cubes for Thanksgiving. Definitely plan to do more of this over the holidays. #holidaycocktail #cocktail

Square silicon ice cube trays are clutch for making fancy cocktails for the holidays 🍸

It’s not quite where I want it, but I think our in progress living room is feeling semi-finished. Progress over perfection! Loving the redesigned gallery wall ❤️ I got most of this art from Artfully Walls and they’re having a Black Friday sale!

#LTKCyberWeek #LTKHome

This realistic faux fur blanket from Amazon is SO SOFT and already perfectly wrapped for gifting. Great Black Friday deal if you snag it right now!! #amazonfinds

Found at #anthro. This would be a chic stocking stuffer! #stockingstuffer

Thanksgiving is NEXT WEEK 😱 Here are some of my favorite hostess gifts.

#LTKGiftGuide #LTKHoliday

Got the base layer for my holiday mantle! I’m going to nestle some greenery between the candles. You can get so many for so cheap! Major #BlackFriday deal on #Amazon.

Still in fall and Thanksgiving mode at my house. Love this simple doormat combo for my #entryway #frontporch.

You can make the cutest gift tags and ornaments using craft wire. I make these wire names every year -- they make good place cards for Thanksgiving or glue them on card stock for a custom greeting card!

Stocking my pantry with spices for the holiday. Excited to try that vanilla sugar on my morning latte ☕️ #spicedrawer
