As much as you all know I love painting things white…I didn’t feel like it was appropriate here. I wanted my house to feel elevated and updated, yet still timeless and classic. Most importantly, I wanted it to still blend with the style and color palette of my neighborhood. I love a painted brick home, but don’t love when it doesn’t feel cohesive with the neighborhood.

There are still plenty of upgrades you can make to a natural brick home without actually painting the brick. I chose to add shutters, new paint, update the front door, add in all new landscaping and hardscaping, and install new top of the line windows. All of this made a major impact and will keep this house looking its best for many years to come.

These Walmart chairs are some of the best outdoor chairs I’ve ever had! This is our fourth summer with the swivel chairs and they’ve held up amazingly well! They come with custom covers that we use when it rains or snows. The dining chairs can double as lounge chairs and are also pieces we had at our last home and I repurchased recently because I love them so much! They all super affordable too!
