Because when I heard they were making this show, I was intrigued. Then, when @uniballco sent this Elle Pen Set my way, I got even more excited about it.

I also didn’t want to create any art without at least watching a little bit of the new show, @ElleonPrime. It came out on July 1, and in the first seconds of the first episode, I was already inspired. A pink, decorated envelope flashed on the screen as Mariah Carey played, and I knew I need to recreate that. So, not to spoil things, but the show kicks off with an everything pink birthday party.

What a month. 😅

Because I guess time flies when you’re having fun. Or something like that. I’ve been writing so many summer camp cards while juggling the summer schedule with kids, and I can’t believe the month is already over.

My all-over-the-place lifestyle is probably why I am always wearing athlesiure, specifically my Halara leggings. I have a handful of colors, and I finally decided I need to add some shorts to the mix because we’re officially past June Gloom. I’ll just have to keep my ankle tan going while I wait for my shorts package to arrive.

Here’s to another month of fun mail and time with my kids. Bye, June. Hello, July!

Day 2: In Bloom 🌼

I wasn’t sure where this card was headed, but I love how it turned out. I used a gift tag as my “bloom” inspiration, and then remembered the @papersource workshop by @lynn_giunta, and I thought it would be fun to use my yellow polka dot paper for letters. I love that it has a little bit of movement (swipe to see it) and isn’t perfect. Finished it off with an envelope liner, washi and my new sunflower stamps! 🌻😍 I’m obsessed with them!

Nostalgic craft time 🌈📷

Please tell me this wasn’t just a craft we did back in Kansas in elementary school. You did this too, right?

When I opened my Craft Month box from @papersource, @shopcanvas.co and @hpsprocket (which you can still go enter to win by the way), my mind was flooded with crafting ideas, but the tissue paper immediately made me think of those crafts were you used your pencil eraser to squish up squares and stick them on paper to make a picture.

I took that idea and gave it a photo frame twist. I will say, my happiest surprise about this whole thing was how easy it is with glue tape. I vividly remember this craft being very messy: gobs of glue, the paper sliding around, the tissue ripping. None of that with easy-to-roll-on glue tape. 😅 I bet all of our elementary teachers wish they could go back in time and take modern adhesives with them.

So, if you’re looking for an easy, kid-friendly craft to celebrate the first weekend of spring, give it a try!

The grape color is my favorite, but I am very impressed with the yellow. Also, that “steal” blue hurt to write, but I was just swatching what the pen says. Not the “steal” I would have gone with, but here we are.

Kicking off 2026 with news pens and a little motivation from the duo of @happyletteringtanya and @crafty.lil.panda. Their January lettering challenge prompt felt like the perfect opportunity to show off my new @posca_usa glitter pens. I got them for Christmas, and they have been sitting on my desk just begging to be used.

They aren’t exactly like other POSCA pens I have because they have more of a plastic tip. I found that they worked best when more upright, rather than at an angle. I got little splatters when I tried to hold it more like I would hold a normal pen.

The subtle glitter and opaque paint is such a great combo. Watch for it on envelopes this year for sure!
