⭐ Cake Mix Sprinkle Sugar Cookies (Cream Cheese Edition)

Ingredients
• 1 box vanilla or white cake mix (15.25 oz)
• 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened
• 4 oz cream cheese, softened
• 1 large egg
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• 1/3–1/2 cup sprinkles (jimmies work best—don’t use nonpareils in dough)

Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment.
2. In a bowl, beat the softened butter + cream cheese until smooth and fluffy.
3. Add egg + vanilla and mix until combined.
4. Add the cake mix and mix on low until a soft, thick dough forms.
5. Fold in sprinkles gently with a spatula.
6. Scoop dough into 1.5–2 tbsp balls.
7. OPTIONAL: roll the tops in extra sprinkles for maximum cuteness ✨
8. Place on baking sheet 2 inches apart.
9. Bake 9–11 minutes — cookies should be set on edges but still soft in the middle.
10. Cool on the sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a rack.

Tips for Perfect Cookies

✨ Don’t overbake — they’ll firm up as they cool.
✨ Chill dough 15 minutes if it feels sticky.
✨ Add almond extract (1/4 tsp) for a bakery-style flavor boost.
