Finally sharing our 2025 Disney World trip… we had the best time! We’ve been driving to Disney for the last 5 years every August & everyone always wants to know if it’s hot 😂 Yes! It’s definitely hot but the crowds are way less & also, it’s pretty hot here in August, too 🤷🏻‍♀️ Plus, there’s plenty of AC & we just take lots of breaks! Our favorite hotel is the Wilderness Lodge & we have lots of favorite restaurants… thinking about sharing everything in a blog post- tell me what you’d want to know about Disney/road tripping from the Northeast!

It can be tough to transition your poplin pants from summer to fall but with the right accessories, you can create multiple fall outfits! I took Amelia to the mall the other day & wanted to try on these joggers I’ve been wanting for a while now & Omgosh… currently sitting in my cart in multiple colors & trying to decide which one I want! They’re so soft, lightweight, & comfortable & they looked so nice on!! I really love them! Perfect for year round wear, too. My friend & I signed up for a scarecrow making workshop only to find out when we got there that it was for kids 🤣 We made them anyway… 🤣 I linked a lot of what we used if you want to make your own! We stuffed the pants with polyester (ehhh I know) filling & the top with hay, the head is a foam pumpkin we drew on with sharpies & he has a premade felt hat! There’s a wooden base that sits right the butt pockets are & goes through the arms to keep him upright but I think the stuffing would hold just fine without it- you’d just want to sit or stand him somewhere! Happy fall crafting!

Easy sheet pan dinner (on non toxic sheet pans):
2 Pork chops cut into cubes, 1 sweet potato cut into cubes, 1 bag frozen broccoli, I onion cut into bit-sized pieces. Drizzle with Olive oil & sprinkle with salt, pepper, & garlic powder & bake at 400 degrees for 30 (ish) minutes. We made Mac & cheese on the side & had applesauce & it was really good!

Welcome to our third floor bathroom :) It’s been a long time coming & we’re so excited about this! We were inspired by the cool greens & warm woods at The Sanctuary on Kiawah Island & we’re really happy with how it turned out! I knew I wanted this green glass tile & designed the rest of the bathroom around that. If you haven’t done a renovation before, my number one tip is to have an idea of what you want but to be flexible (especially if you live in an old house!). We used a new-to-us contractor & they were phenomenal- even through having to change the tile almost entirely while we were on vacation 🤦🏻‍♀️ Now to add some artwork & a few finishing touches… 🌊
