We headed up to the Poconos Mountains over spring break for a few days with Joe’s family & it was so nice! On our first full day we went to Jim Thorpe around lunch. It has a really pretty view of the Lehigh River & the kids loved the old train station. Then we walked around downtown, went in a few of the shops (lots were closed because we went on a Monday), had lunch at Ouros, got ice cream, & walked up the hill to see the Asa & Harry Packer mansions. Unfortunately, we couldn’t walk in either of them but it was cool to show the kids the inspiration for Disney’s Haunted Mansion! Apparently, you can also tour the Old Jail & I think that would be fun to do, too! Road trip, east coast, weekend trip LTKmomlife LTKTravel LTKdayinmylife
