After a rough ice storm in Nashville, the weather this week has me ready for spring and I’m already thinking about getting my front porch decorated! I’ll be sharing some inspiration from previous years all week long so don’t miss it!

I always start with a large rug and doormat. Then, I add in faux trees and flowers in a variety of pretty planters and baskets and top it off with wreaths!

More spring porch inspo with all the color!

So excited to share this spring porch from two years ago because I just LOVED the pop of color these trees added!🌸I kept everything else very simple so they could really be the star of the show!

Here are the steps I use to get my porch ready for the season:

1. Layer a neutral scatter or jute rug and welcome mat! Note: I only recommend the one shown in this video if you have a covered porch. It does not hold up well when exposed to weather. I have several other great options linked over in other posts in my LTK!

2. Add baskets or planters of varying textures and fill with greenery or trees...don’t be afraid to go faux!

3. Top it off with spring wreaths - this time I left off the wreaths so the trees could have their moment!

My new favorite home find from costco is this 6.5' Faux Black Olive Tree from nearly natural floral. I’m always on the hunt for easy, no-maintenance decor that still looks real — and this faux black olive tree checks all the boxes. The neutral planter made it so easy to style, and I love that it instantly warmed up this space without any upkeep.. Maintenance-free decor is always a win around here!

Another way, I like to organize our board games that have larger pieces! These mesh bags are great for holding all the things and it’s so nice getting rid of all the different sized cardboard boxes. I just dropped them all in these huge bins I found at target and they can hold so many games in one space!

Life is so much easier with my cleaning supplies organized! I love this wall system for vertical storage and getting all my stuff up off the floor! It was such a great solution to be able to put my cleaning supplies in this Hall closet rather than taking up cabinet space in my kitchen or pantry. Now I can see everything but it’s out of sight to everyone else!

I love a simple front porch moment for after Christmas is over! It’s a minimalistic look but the green is perfect to bring you out of the winter dread. These cedar trees are so realistic and have lasted outdoors for years now. I use them everywhere and all year round, so definitely a great purchase! My exact baskets and wreaths are no longer available so I linked similar!
