I thought about editing my belly because I don’t look “skinny” in this picture but I decided against it for a two big reasons: 1. I don’t want anyone else think they have to look a certain way online. Being honest here, I’m the heaviest I’ve ever been outside of when I was pregnant and that’s REALLY hard to deal with. I’m constantly looking down on my body and wishing I looked like other women I see on social media and I would never want anyone to feel how I do most days! 2. I was 3 months pregnant in this picture, so what would that be teaching my future daughter who may see this picture? I want her to learn to love her body before, during, and after her (possible) future pregnancies and be PROUD of the woman’s body. So here’s to putting myself out there and being vulnerable - if you’re dealing with body insecurities right now too, let’s keep each other on track and be more positive together!
