Real life: we took this adorable photo and then Harper decided he had to pee. We were on Tradd Street (one of the most expensive and exclusive streets in Charleston) and there are zero bathrooms nearby. He told me he was going to pee his pants if he tried to hold it any longer. Isn’t it amazing how kids don’t mention having to go but then once they do it’s a dire emergency? So I did what any other mother would do, I looked for a vacant home. Found one with construction signs so I shuffled him to a bush on the side of the house. My photographer Kailee took guard on the street. I stood behind him and blocked his bum by staring in front of his body.
