Time for a STYLE BREAKDOWN—where I walk you through my thought process putting together an outfit.

This is one of my favorite fall outfits because it’s easy to put together and it’s become my uniform for the season.

I started with medium wash jeans and added a white button-down shirt. It’s from @sezane and one of my most worn tops.

A really quick way to make a simple outfit feel more put together is to add a third piece to it. In this instance it’s the green sweater over my shoulders. It gives the outfit a pop of color, but it’s also practical because you can wear the sweater in case you get cold.

I wanted to lean into the earthiness of the green sweater so instead of going with my usual black accessories, I wore a brown woven bag and some low shoes. The shoes have a red undertone but I love how they look with the brown bag and the other colors in my outfit.

One of my favorite ways to look instantly put together, even when wearing sneakers, is to opt for head to toe in the same color.

I used these sneakers as the inspo for the rest of my outfit, styling them with brown trousers, a brown cardigan, and a lighter brown handbag to add in a bit of dimension.

The mix of polished with sporty creates an elevated yet easy look that’s perfect for casual Fridays, running errands, or a low-key cozy dinner with friends.
