I will make no apologies for smiling so big while I’m out hiking and living my best life. ✌🏼. This is my go to outfit for all types of hikes. The layers work well for a range of temperatures and the same layers hold up to scrambling on rocks and sliding on your backside. Ask me how I know 🤣. #LTKActive #LTKOver40 #LTKMidsize
Cool weather hiking go to: layers + layers + layers. I don’t actually own a winter coat so I layer up with merino wool base layer, a long sleeve hoodie, and my raincoat. It works great for me and these layers are easily packable when I get too hot. Also, these Clamber pants from Title Nine are my favorites! #LTKActive #LTKMidsize
More of my favorite fall hiking gear! I love pieces that can be worn for multiple purposes and multiple seasons! Fun fact: I don’t own a winter coat. Excellent layering plus my rain coat always does the trick for me. #LTKSeasonal #LTKMidsize

It’s almost cable and camp season! Once it cools down at night it’s go time! These are my go to items for backpacking that also work great for canoe or stand up paddle board camping. #LTKOver40 #LTKActive #LTKTravel
You’ve asked: I’ll answer. Some of my favorite gear that I would definitely buy again.
Why inflatable paddleboard are the best: this was my view exactly one hour after deciding to go. Easy to grab and go. Plus - by always having my “adventure” gear in one spot we get to get out more. Both my daughter and I love Title Nine her and we both wear their based shorts and rash guards. Bring on summer. #LTKSwim #LTKOver40
Adventure Gear
A few of our favorite pieces of adventure gear: kids edition. These pants, shoes, and backpacks hold up to every kind of adventure, no matter how much mud it involves. The backpacks have plenty of space for water, snacks, fossils, rocks and sticks. Five stars from us, all around. #LTKActive #LTKKids #LTKmomlife
In our family, adventures are a big part of our homeschool and our life. My kids call these their adventure pants and they hold up to every type of shenanigan we throw at them. The Mountainmaker kids hiking pants from REI are THE best. We also love the REI Rainier rain coats. It never gets very cold where we live, but when it does, we just layer with our raincoats and we are perfectly warm.
Ideal adventure outfit for teen boy: REI version.

Can you believe I fit 5 days of clothes for NYC in this bag, AND still fit a fancy dress? This packing system made it all possible. I got a set for each person in my family and it made our trip go so smooth. The bags are great quality, easy to zip, with plenty of pockets for all the things. #LTKTravel
Just a little fit check while I wait for my daughters singing lesson to be done. I love this sweater because it’s a great fall transition sweater, that can be easily dressed up or down. These sneakers and purse are my go to day to day look too!! #LTKOver40 #LTKMidsize
I know, I know. I’m an absolute fashion icon up here at 11,000 feet. But honestly, this outfit with the socks and sandal combo is so comfy for roadtrip days with lots of stops to hop out and grab photos!

When Hamilton comes to town. We’ve had these dresses for years and they always come in handy. Hers has pockets. 🤩. #LTKOver40 #LTKMidsize
These shoes are EVERYTHING. They can make an outfit instantly elevated and I adore them. I paired the shoes with these work pants that can pull double duty as dress pants, a white shirt, and a bold vintage necklace. It packed easily in my carry on and made a classy date night dinner outfit. #LTKMidsize #LTKOver40
Work. I love a power suit. This set didn’t come together but it’s super comfortable and looks put together. I can’t tag the necklace because it’s a vintage beauty that I scored. The shows are from Dillards and seem to be discontinued but I tagged something similar! #LTKMidsize #LTKOver40 #LTKWorkwear
Fancy Adventure
A snapshot of our school room set up. We’re 11 years into our homeschool journey and these desks have worked well from my kids from age 9 and up. I love adding little touches of whimsy to our school room. Over the last 11 years it’s slowly evolved into the perfect space for us!
These three things have been a staple in our school room for a while! 1) a tiny (electric) fireplace space heater. This one lets us just have the light on without the heat. 2) Cute, realistic looking, paper moths in different places around the room. 3) Floating, wizard inspired candles with a wand remote! We love these and they add such a whimsical charm to our space. #LTKHome
Instant cozy on a non working fireplace: twinkle lights and battery operated candles. Festive slippers and hot chocolate make for a perfect Christmas season movie night. #LTKHoliday
