Unpack my dayhike pack with me. This was for an 8 mile day hike in a remote area. I always make sure that I have the ten hiking essentials every time I go in remote areas, just to stay safe. Excuse my super swollen fingers. Anyone else had hands that swell when you hike?

I still can’t believe he’s taller than me now and she quickly catching up. The nice thing though is they’re both in adult sizes now and it make shopping easier because there are more options for adventure gear and clothes. These are our go to adventure and hiking outfits

I was home from one sports tournament for less than 24 hours before leaving for another one/work trip weekend. That sports Mom/travel creator life. Good thing I have some favorite clothes and bags that are great for travel 😉.

Headed to a big city for a winter holiday trip? Wear the red coat. It’s worth it.

#LTKTravel #LTKOver40 #LTKSeasonal

Take a peek in my daypack as I unpack it after a 9 mile solo hike. Not an ultralight hike because 1) Kindle always comes and I also brought my journal too. Because, books, always.

#LTKOver40 #LTKActive

This is THE coat for winter holiday travel. It has huge pockets, is so pretty, and photographs well. Plus, the length helps keep you warm and protected when you sit down. I wore it for a 5 day trip to NYC in December and it was perfect!!

Just a few of our favorite things to make our (home) school room feel extra special.

Do it. Wear the red coat. This one in particular. It kept me warm all week in NYC and blocked the wind. I cooos hide my crossbody bag under it AND I could fit four water bottles in the pockets. Winning.

This travel backpack is my go to for all trips! It’s perfect for weekend getaways and big enough for longer trips too, especially if you use compression bags. I love that it has a padded area for my laptop plus plenty of pockets for other things. It comes with two internal bags for organizing plus a shoe bag as well. I even used this bag for a 5 day NYC trip!

These pajamas are my new go to because they’re cute, comfy, and let me actually feel like a grown up instead of wearing the old t-shirts I usually sleep in. I love the length of the pants too!!

Some of our favorite hiking gear and apparel. These are still our favorite hiking shoes and we keep buying more as ours wear out, but more likely my kids outgrown them and need a bigger size. It’s almost fall hiking season!!

When Hamilton comes to town. We’ve had these dresses for years and they always come in handy. Hers has pockets. 🤩.

#LTKOver40 #LTKMidsize

LIVING in these comfy, collared shirts lately. They’re so soft, don’t wrinkle, and make me feel a bit more out together than a t-shirt.

How I survive the summer heat dome: sunset paddles on pretty Arkansas lakes.

A peek at our homeschool room. It’s evolved a lot over the last ten years and it’s one of our favorite spaces. We’ve added things over the years that are whimsical and bring us joy. Life’s too short to stay on a trending aesthetic.

A snapshot of our school room set up. We’re 11 years into our homeschool journey and these desks have worked well from my kids from age 9 and up. I love adding little touches of whimsy to our school room. Over the last 11 years it’s slowly evolved into the perfect space for us!

This is the dress. I’m not always a dress person but when I need something whimsical for fun photos, this has been my go to for years! It’s so comfortable and has excellent twirl. 💃

Adventure Mom does business attire. These pants from Athleta are my go to almost all the time.

#LTKMidsize #LTKOver40

Necessary adventure gear: a way to make good coffee. This has been my go to for years and it comes with me on every adventure!

#LTKActive

Nowhere else I’d rather be. This rashguard from Title Nine is so versatile and I use it for all sunny and wet adventures. 😉.

#LTKActive #LTKOver40

Solo adventures at the garden center. This easy outfit hid how much I was sweating and is super comfy. Win!

Hey YOU! You’re amazing. 💖💖

This go to outfit can go from hiking to looking semi cute at my kids soccer and tennis games. Yes, it’s black, but it’s my favorite color for mixing and matching accessories. Also featured: my favorite day hiking pack. ✌🏼

Let’s hike: but make it clothing that does well in hot weather and creek crossings. ✌🏼.

A park at what’s in my pack: solo dayhike, remote wilderness, about 8 miles. This is pretty standard for me. Don’t forget your ten essentials!

#LTKActive

Must have for camping and outdoor adventure: this easy, retractable clothes line that saves trees by using tension instead of nailing anything into the tree! It’s great for hanging up towels and swimsuits to dry. I take it with my in my backpack on every adventure.

This is a PSA: Athleta and REI have sales going on now. The Headlands Hybrid leggings from Athleta are my go to adventure pants, all year round.

I love a comfy, easy outfit for exploring days while on vacation. This outfit was perfect for walking around and exploring NW Arkansas. I walked all over downtown, to Crystal Bridges, and back to my Airbnb. The pouch holds just what I need for a day exploring and the pants are a chafe free option with pockets big enough for a cell phone. Winning.

#LTKOver40 #LTKActive #LTKTravel

This tripod gets so tall and it holds your phone via a magnet. I love it because I can easily correct alignment to get a straight horizon shot. This tripod goes with me everywhere!

You’ve asked: I’ll answer. Some of my favorite gear that I would definitely buy again.

More of this. All summer long. I love my inflatable paddle board because it fits easily in the back of my outback and it’s so fun to take out on a lake. Bonus - you can lay down on them. ✌🏼.

#LTKOver40 #LTKMidsize #LTKActive

Why inflatable paddleboard are the best: this was my view exactly one hour after deciding to go. Easy to grab and go. Plus - by always having my “adventure” gear in one spot we get to get out more. Both my daughter and I love Title Nine her and we both wear their based shorts and rash guards. Bring on summer.

Because we need a watch that can do it all, and run for multiple days without needing to be recharged. I will forever and always be a Garmin girlie. The Venu for daily wear and looking nicer (plus the sleep/stress tracking is great) and my Instinct Solar for all the shenanigans and adventures.
