Slow down, sister! Do you ever catch yourself feeling bogged down by an endless to-do list, the needs of those around us, and an overall pressure to perform? My devotional this morning said this perfectly, “We run at a breakneck pace to achieve what God wants us to slow down enough to receive.” He really does have it all worked out, all the gaps filled, the needs met, the questions answered, and the problems solved. We just need to slow down, be patient, listen, be still, and be present. All the tasks that He has purposed for us are perfectly portioned out for us today, no more no less, we just need to listen.
