We’ve done our fair share of larger home projects around here, but if I’m being honest, it’s the tiny home projects that have my heart. Those little tweaks and changes that you make over time as you’re living in your spaces are what really make a house feel like home. There’s no way to rush the process; it has to come to you in little moments of inspiration and quiet experiments until one day you realize that you’ve landed on something that feels just right.

As I was working on bringing a bit of English country style charm to this ensuite last fall with the gallery walls and warm wood finishes, I had a moment where I suddenly felt that what was really needed to complete the space was a big hit of pattern in the form of a classic ticking stripe. It took me a while to find just the right ones, but when I saw these classic navy pinch pleat curtains from @neutralcurtains, I knew I had found just the thing. At some point along the way, we started trying to make our homes so “calm”, so perfectly on-trend that they all started to look the same. The real lesson here is that you can never have too many dried hydrangeas.🤍 I display them all over the house in the winter, but I’ve always wanted to use them to style some of the beautiful spaces that we capture for our styling and photography business, too.
