Since I was little, I’ve been constrained to wear uniforms. Later, work came with its own uniform too.
One thing I’ve come to appreciate about a uniform is the mental space it gives you. Now I have my own kind of uniform. Slightly different: A great pair of boots. Good denim. A simple T-shirt. An old blazer. Sometimes the best way to feel put together is to know exactly what you are wearing.

A cape simply changes the way you move: a little more dramatic, a little more nonchalant.

Etro has always understood this kind of romance: rich textures, unexpected patterns, and clothes that feel as though they belong to another chapter of the story.

For autumn, I’d take the cape over the coat whenever I want the outfit to feel less practical and a little more poetic.
