A cape simply changes the way you move: a little more dramatic, a little more nonchalant.

Etro has always understood this kind of romance: rich textures, unexpected patterns, and clothes that feel as though they belong to another chapter of the story.

For autumn, I’d take the cape over the coat whenever I want the outfit to feel less practical and a little more poetic.

One of my favorite parts of styling is styling always casual pieces with more formal ones. Take for example this gorgeous pair of mid heels from Gabriela Hearst pair with a very sporty casual shirt. The internet loves to call it chic, I always say it’s so cool.
