Home, apartment, and dorm essentials. I just help set up my college grads new apartment. Since she moved out of state for college and again move to another state to work we started to set up her apartment with essentials for the home. We purchased kitchen trash can, kitchen mat, scrub daddy wand, laundry basket, swiffer starter set, bathtub mat, vacuum, dishes, silverware, glasses, OXO storage containers (love these!) hibiscus plant (it’s pretty & she can make herb tea from blossoms) , money tree plant (to wish her success & prosperity) … Hope this helps you! I have lots of lists and checklists on the blog too for helping you stock your new home with cooking and kitchen essentials...! Do you have a college age kid…?
