I usually know what I’m wearing to church every Sunday, and I’m never surprised when I look in Milt’s closet and see he’s about to wear a coordinating color.

Coconut Pancakes

INGREDIENTS
* 2 cups all-purpose flour
* 1/4 cup sugar
* 1 tablespoon baking powder
* 3/4 teaspoon salt
* 1 cup whole buttermilk
* 1 (13.25-ounce) can unsweetened coconut milk
* 1 large egg
* 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
* 1 1/2 cups sweetened flaked coconut, divided
* butter

INSTRUCTIONS
* In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. 
* In a medium bowl, whisk together buttermilk, coconut milk, egg, and vanilla extract until mixed well. 
* Add wet ingredients to dry, stirring just until all of the flour is moistened.  
* Stir in 1 cup of coconut. 
* Place remaining coconut in a small nonstick pan and heat over medium heat, stirring frequently, until toasted.  
* Heat a pan over low/-medium heat. Coat pan with a little butter and slowly pour the batter directly into the center. Cook until bubbles form in center and flip over. Adds little more butter. Cook another 1 to 2 minutes. 
* Add more butter then add before each batch. Serve topped with toasted coconut and maple syrup.

I wore this dress on Saturday to get appliances…and eat haha. Really, it’s an unbelievable piece. The puff sleeves, the buttons, the detachable belt, and the length. I received so many compliments all day. I wanted to wear it on Sunday too. It’s lightweight enough to wear now but it’s still a great fall transition piece. I received so many messages about the Best Buy Outlet. That store is insane! Also, this is the dress I went to pick up at Bloomingdale’s. I had to go! It was marked down from $110 to $30. Sadly, it is sold out, but I linked it just in case and some extremely similar dresses starting at about $20. I hope you all have a wonderful day!

I’m currently eating Flaming Hot Cheetos and can’t cope with life right now. They’re so hot! I bought this dress at Ross for $15, but I linked a show-stopping denim dress that I just bought and can’t wait to wear!

I love this dress! It also comes in a pretty burgundy and I couldn’t choose which color I wanted. The length, the ruffles on the sleeves, the faintest stripes on it, and the price at just under $30. I saw this blazer in the store, went home to think about it, and went back and bought it a few hours later haha. There’s also black and a nice checkered plaid. I almost bought the black instead. I like how structured it is.
