that feeling when you’re literally standing on the space you had dreamed up when it was a pile of dirt 🥹😭 from the checkerboard pavers, the custom gas firepit, to the limestone on the walls and on the firepit surround, I love how this space came to life in that awkward little corner backstory: this wasn’t originally meant to be a ‘nook’ with walls on three sides, but once we started demoing the backyard, we realized the trees we wanted to keep had roots spreading much wider than expected. that shifted the wall design a bit, wrapping it around the tree on the right and hence the awkward nook situation 😅 but honestly, it ended up making the space feel even cozier, so i’m not complaining 😍 patio design, patio finds, spring patio, outdoor fire pit, backyard renovation, backyard makeover LTKHome
