If your patio feels a little blah… this fixes it.

The shape is so cute, the black trim makes it feel styled, and it’s a full 9 ft so you actually get real shade.

It tilts (which you’ll love more than you think), and it’s only $88… which is kind of crazy for how good it looks.

This is one of those pieces that makes everything else look better.

I didn't want a TV in my bedroom... but also there's times when it's really nice.

So I built a dresser with a hidden TV lift.

When the TV is down, it just looks like a normal piece of furniture. Clean, simple, and much better for the room. When you want to watch something, the TV lifts right up out of the dresser.

I designed and built the cabinet myself and it ended up being one of my favorite hidden upgrades in the house.

My patio umbrella used to tip over constantly… so I built a planter that secretly holds it in place.

Inside the planter is a hidden bucket with concrete and a PVC pipe in the center. The umbrella slides right in, and the top is finished with soil and flowers so it still looks beautiful.

It’s one of my favorite backyard DIY projects because it solves a real problem and doubles as decor.

You can also use the same idea to hold patio lights.

If you want a pretty patio without chasing umbrellas across the yard… this one’s worth trying.

Design Notes: I used 1.5" PVC for the umbrella and 2" PVC with 2" x 2"x 9' for the patio lights. I also drilled three-quarter inch drainage holes in the bottom of the planter.

Drywall holes are one of those annoying little things that make a whole room feel unfinished. And the reason they sit there forever is because “fixing it” usually sounds like a whole drywall project cutting a piece, trying to match thickness, taping, mudding, sanding… no thanks.

Garage Christmas Garland
This entire look is shockingly easy to recreate. I used two 25-ft cedar garlands as the base and layered on five red ball garlands for instant fullness. I added lighting and finished it with bright red ribbon for that classic Christmas pop.

I hang mine with nails in my siding, and you can hang it higher or with less swag, if needed to clear your vehicle vehicles. Also, I secure it with zip ties so it doesn't go anywhere.

Holiday hosting made easy on one buffet. I layered greenery, candles, and pretty serving dishes to create an easy grab-and-go holiday setup you can use all season. Shop the decor and tableware I used to style this Christmas buffet below.

Create a show-stopping front porch this year. It only took me about an hour to assemble it.
I started with a natural greenery garland then layered in two Norfolk pine artificial garland. I added in a variety of red ornaments in clusters of 3, then topped it off with a long tail bow (4" ribbon).

A simple little project with a big impact! I love hanging these artificial wreaths on all the front windows of my home. I light them up with battery, operated lights and they add a beautiful festive touch for the holidays. I hang them on Nails, but you could use suction cups on your windows. I've linked some below.
