when updating the bathroom at this #dwelloctoberstudio project, we were inspired to convert the tub/shower unit into a walk-in shower with a dramatic arched entry. we selected a bold Calacatta Viola-inspired large format porcelain tile for the shower walls and a deep plum hexagon mosaic tile for the floor. brushed gold plumbing fixtures and a fixed panel of curved glass add the finishing touches to this luxurious shower. #dwelloctober

this condo features incredibly high ceilings with amazing woodwork from the building's former life as a church. in order to highlight the volume of this space and show off its full potential, #dwelloctoberstudio painted everything a dusty shade of blue and added a custom-made metal ladder that allows access to the loft space above the door. with the addition of the ladder, the loft space can be used for storage or display, and adds a fun and interesting design element. #dwelloctober

the living room at the #dwelloctoberstudio project has the most amazing light thanks to the combination of the large sliding doors, transom window, and skylights. it also features unique woodwork where the organ was located during the building’s former life as a church. to showcase the incredible volume of this space, we drenched the walls, woodwork, and ceiling in the same blue gray paint color used throughout the rest of the condo, then added a statement-making fan to serve as the center of a conversation area. #dwelloctober

#AD we're excited to shine a spotlight on the appliances used in our most recent #dwelloctoberstudio project, a church to condo revival in downtown Salem. when sourcing the appliances for this kitchen, we opted to order from @Lowe's because they carry Forno, one of our favorite appliance brands. our goal with this project was to create a chic, Parisian apartment-inspired design featuring moody colors and luxurious materials and these appliances from @Lowe's definitely delivered. we have always had great experiences ordering appliances through @Lowe's. #AD it's time to reveal the transformation of the #dwelloctoberstudio church to condo revival balcony! we teamed up with @Lowe's to convert this underutilized space into an outdoor oasis just in time for spring. all of the products we used are available @Lowe's and prove that it's possible to create a chic outdoor space when working with a limited budget. when designing this space, we were inspired by a neutral striped outdoor rug and used it as the backdrop for a cozy seating area featuring a black metal bistro set. next, we introduced a lot of greenery into the space using cement-look planters filled with an olive tree, rubber tree, as well as a railing planter with boxwoods and candytuft flowers. rattan lanterns and black-and-white geometric throw pillows finish off the space with a cozy feeling. #LowesPartner #dwelloctober

#AD we're excited to kick off a new #dwelloctoberstudio project, a church to condo revival, where we'll be refreshing a historic one bedroom condo in downtown Salem that was originally built as a church. as this renovation is on a tight timeline in order to capitalize on the busy spring real estate market, we're planning to use @Wayfair products for the redesign. @Wayfair has such a wide variety of home improvement products in stock and ships with lightning speed! for this project, we were inspired by a chic Parisian apartment and are planning to use rich, moody colors, dark wood tones, and brass accents. today, we're sharing our design for the bathroom renovation, which will include large format marble-look porcelain wall tile, plum hexagon mosaic floor tile, a dark wood vanity, and brushed brass plumbing and lighting fixtures. stay tuned to see how the renovation turns out! #Wayfair #WayfairPartner #dwelloctober

new #dwelloctoberstudio project alert! we’re excited to share the finished photos of this condo renovation in downtown Salem. the design of this project was inspired by a Parisian apartment, so when the bedroom lacked storage, we added built-in wardrobes using @ikea boxes fitted with DIY cane doors. we painted the cabinets the same soft blue color as the walls, ceiling, and trim to give the room a chic feel while bringing some much needed light into the space. organically-shaped gold knobs add the finishing touch to these functional and beautiful built-ins. #dwelloctober

in contrast to the bright and airy bedroom space, #dwelloctoberstudio went with a moodier feel for the en suite bathroom, using deep plum penny tile for the floor, a Calacatta Viola-inspired tile for the shower walls, and a rich wood vanity. brushed gold plumbing fixtures and accessories add more warmth to the space, while caned doors camouflage a utility closet. #dwelloctober
