We put these incense sticks in our planters around the perimeter of our patio, I made these mason jars bug repellent candles with lemon, rosemary sprigs, + peppermint and lavender essential oils (you can add cloves as well), we sprayed our nontoxic repellent the day before + added a little bit to the fake flowers a few hours before the event as well, and we put two fans out for air flow.
